All Scientific sessions will be held at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. Pre-registration and payment is required for all ticketed workshops, section events and certain social functions. Tickets will not be required for non-ticketed events.
Retired Members’ Registration
Retired members who register are offered discounted rates as outlined in the fee table. CAS does not offer discounts to non-members who are retired from the practice of anesthesia.
All Speakers are required to register for the meeting. Separate registration instructions will be sent via email. Please contact Leeanne Akehurst at Lakehurst@intertaskconferences.com if you have not received these instructions.
Abstract Presenters’ Registration
All Abstract presenters are required to register and pay to attend the Annual Meeting. Confirmed abstract presenters who reside in developing countries as defined by the World Bank list of low or lower-middle income countries, may register at a special rate.
Three types of registrations are available for accompanying persons over the age of 12. Accompanying persons’ registrations does not include entry to any of the scientific or educational conference sessions.
- Complimentary: attendance at the Welcome Reception and access to the Exhibit Hall on Friday only
- Daily (Saturday or Sunday): access to the Exhibit Hall on the selected day
- Full: access to the Exhibit Hall (Friday to Sunday)
Please note: Registered delegates must indicate the number of accompanying persons over 12 who will be attending the Welcome Reception at the time of registration.
Please note: For safety reasons, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall except during the Welcome Reception and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
On-Site Check In
All delegates are required to check in at the Registration Desk located in the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. Delegates will receive their badges and tickets upon check-in. Badges must be worn for admission to all events.

Receipts are issued immediately upon registration.
Certificates of Attendance will be available on the website.

Cancellations received up to and including May 4, 2018 will be eligible for a refund equal to 50% of the registration fees paid and all additional activity tickets purchased.
After May 10, 2019 (non-refundable)
Cancellations received after May 10, 2019 and no shows are non-refundable.
This applies to registration fees and all additional activity tickets purchased.
Cancelled registrations are non-transferable.
CAS reserves the right to make changes to the program without notification. If the program is not held for any reason, CAS’s liability is limited to the registration fee.
Please note: Photography, audio, and video recording will occur at the 2019 CAS Annual Meeting. By attending the event, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by CAS.
