Professor Kate Leslie OPENING PLENARY SPEAKER: PROFESSOR KATE LESLIE

“Depth of Anesthesia and Long-Term Outcomes”

Professor Kate Leslie is a SPHPM Adjunct Professor, specialist anaesthetist and head of research in the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management Royal Melbourne Hospital. In 2016, she was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for her distinguished services in medicine for anaesthesia and pain management practice and research.

Dr Patricia Houston is a collaborative leader in health professional education, currently serving as Vice Dean of the MD Program at the University of Toronto and professor in the Department of Anesthesia. She has been recognized with numerous teaching and leadership awards and is a past president of CAS.
